Homebuyer Education and Counseling Workshops

Our education and counseling program is two-part workshop series (offered monthly) to educate consumers about the entire home buying process before making a commitment to purchasing a home. Those who attend and complete both workshops will receive a certificate of achievement that is required for the forgivable loan approval. There is no charge for these workshops.

Workshops are held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee location.

Workshop I: Learn the importance of homeownership, the role of the lender, financial and household budgeting techniques, credit issues and the analysis of the credit report in the home buying process.

Workshop II: Learn about the process of selecting a home and the role of the real estate professional and home inspector. Also covered is homeownership responsibility and home maintenance.
