This team consists of consumers, people with disabilities, staff and interested community members. The Consumer Advocacy Teams meet approximately once a month to work on a variety of issues affecting people with disabilities.
Team priority list
The team works on advocating for consumer choices in the long term care system and for community-based care services as a more cost-effective, dignified and preferred alternative to nursing home or institutionalized care. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 2:30-3:30 pm.

Addresses employment issues faced by people with disabilities. Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 1-2 p.m.
