As one of its "core" services, IndependenceFirst offers one-stop comprehensive information and referral regarding disability-related issues, resources and services. Referrals are made to resources and services available to consumers, families, service providers, businesses and the community.
The purpose of the Information and Referral Program is to provide disability-related information and referral to community-based resource options that meet the needs of persons with disabilities.

- To research, identify and maintain accurate, comprehensive information and referral sources for persons seeking this information.
