Our staff member is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) who can provide people who are remodeling or building a home with tips and suggestions for a life-long or intergenerational home with access features. She helps you to "think before you build or remodel" so that retrofitting for access doesn't need to be costly or retrofitted later...
Staff assist people with disabilities who are living in nursing homes, intermediate care facilities for intellectual disability, or other types of institutions, to relocate into a community-based living environment. There is a short waiting list for services.

Series of trainings educating individuals with disabilities who are looking for rental housing by learning how to develop good relationships with landlords and reviewing tenants` legal rights. Among other things, participants learn about rental applications, leases and security deposits.
