The purpose of benefits counseling is to assist individuals with disabilities with making informed choices about working.

Type of Assistance/Information
Informed Choice Benefits Analysis - this service provides an individual with enough information to decide if the person can work. In-Depth Benefits Analysis - this service takes a closer look at the work incentive, health care options, and other services that may be available to the individual, along with exploring different employment earning situations. Benefits Counseling - this service is provided after benefits analysis and assists an individual with monitoring, tracking, and reporting benefits changes.
Eligibility Requirements
Individual must be authorized for service by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
