Disability Rights

To promote and enforce disability rights laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehab Act, Fair Housing and other state and municipal codes that apply to access and barrier removal.

Goals

  • To effectively help people understand the laws that were created to protect people with disabilities rights.
  • To provide reference and information about specific laws and codes that were designed to eliminate discrimination.
  • To show people what forms to use and how to file complaints to the appropriate authorities when laws, codes and rules are broken or disregarded.
