The purpose of IndependenceFirst's Employment Counseling Services is to assist persons with disabilities to meet and maintain their employment-related goals.
Goals
- To assist persons with disabilities to identify their employment goals.
- To assist persons with disabilities to identify and problem-solve the obstacles and barriers that may be preventing them from achieving their employment goals.
- To assist persons with disabilities to identify resources that may help them to meet their employment-related goals.
- To provide training and education on the rights of persons with disabilities to both jobseekers and employers.
