IndependenceFirst staff can provide housing-specific information and referral, including lists of accessible housing, affordable housing, and information on subsidized housing. In addition, persons with disabilities can obtain referral information for tenant/landlord or discrimination issues and home modification needs.

Types of classes Offered (Individual or Group)
- RentSmart is a class for current and potential tenants. It covers basic budgeting, landlord-tenant issues, and some simple maintenance/repairs.
- MoneySmart is a money management class with the goal of putting persons with disabilities on the path toward homeownership.
Consumer Responsibilities/Expectations
Information and Referral only. Persons needing more in-depth assistance will be referred to the Independent Living Services Program or other community resources.
