A WisTech Loan and Demonstration Program

Assistive Technology devices displayed on shelves.     Computer input devices

Try before you buy? We’re not selling, but you can borrow these assistive devices to see what works best.

Over 1000 pieces of high tech to low tech adaptive devices from kitchen, bathroom, educational tools, communication devices, computer input, gardening, toys and more that people with disabilities and their families can try out before they purchase something.
IndependenceFirst does NOT sell adaptive equipment here but this area allows for in-office trials and in some cases, a loan of a piece of equipment for up to a week to try within one's own home, office or other environment.

Current items available to try on loan at IndependenceFirst.
