Staff members from Independence First joined State Representative Robyn Vining (D-Wauwatosa) and State Senator Melissa Agard (D-Madison), and other advocacy groups attended a press conference "to celebrate the installation of a universal changing station in the State Capitol and bring awareness to the importance of improving the accessibility of public buildings."

Mike Wolfe is an Independent Living Services Coordinator at Independence First. Mike attended the press release and toured the Assembly, meeting State Senator Melissa Agard. Following the press conference, Mike joined the Wisconsin Coalition of Independent Living Centers (WCILC) and legislators to check out the new universal changing station on the ground floor.
