Details:A Workshop About Personal Assistance Services and Long-Term Care Programs
Back by popular demand! Independence First invites you to a free workshop exploring services and resources that can help people with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes and communities.
Many people want to remain in their homes as they age or experience changes in their care needs. This workshop will introduce participants to Personal Assistance Services (PAS) and long-term care programs that can provide support with daily living activities and help individuals avoid unnecessary placement in nursing homes or other institutional settings.
This workshop is free and open to the public, with a special focus on the needs of people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing.
Join us to learn more about the resources available to support independent living and community participation!
