Caregiver Listening Session

Join Independence First for a Caregiver Listening Session on Monday, March 23 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at our office, located at 540 South First Street in Milwaukee. This discussion is open to parents, family members, and chosen family caregivers who are navigating the challenges that can come with disability, chronic illness, progressive diagnoses, or changes related to aging.

This session offers a welcoming space for caregivers to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who understand the realities of caregiving. Participants will explore topics such as adjusting to new caregiving roles, changes in family dynamics and relationships, managing caregiver fatigue, and the importance of maintaining personal well-being and self-care while supporting someone else.

The event will be facilitated by Independence First staff and is designed to foster conversation, mutual support, and the sharing of practical insights among caregivers.

To RSVP or request accommodations, please contact Erin Kamin at 414-865-1925 or ekamin@independencefirst.org.
