Build confidence with technology in this free, four-part Computer Basics workshop series at Independence First. These beginner-friendly sessions are designed to help participants feel more comfortable using computers and everyday technology through hands-on instruction and guided practice.

Topics will include navigating Windows 11 and accessibility settings, staying safe online and recognizing scams, creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word, and learning the basics of Microsoft Excel. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions, practice new skills, and explore tools that can make technology more accessible and easier to use.

Workshop Schedule:
• April 30 – Windows 11 & Accessibility
• May 14 – Internet Safety & Scam Awareness
• May 28 – Microsoft Word Basics
• June 11 – Microsoft Excel Basics

All sessions will take place from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Independence First, 540 S. 1st St., Milwaukee, WI 53204.
