Job Club Workshop

Looking for a job can be challenging but you don’t have to do it alone. Independence First’s Job Club is a supportive, welcoming workshop designed to help job seekers build confidence, connect with others, and develop practical skills to succeed in today’s job market. In a relaxed group setting, participants will have the opportunity to practice communication skills, learn how to talk about their strengths, and gain tools to feel more prepared throughout the job search process.

Meetings will take place from 11am – 12pm on the following days:

April 27, 2026 – Job Search & Application Skills
April 30, 2026 – Resume Fundamentals
May 4, 2026– Job Interview Basics
May 7, 2026 – Managing Stress and Nerves
 

Participants are encouraged to attend one or all sessions to build their skills and confidence over time.
