Details:Help shape the future of Milwaukee County’s bus network! Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) is facing a budget shortfall that will require changes to the transit network over the next few years, and community members are invited to learn about the options and share their priorities before decisions are made.
During this community open house, MCTS will present two concepts for the future of bus service. The Ridership Concept would concentrate service on the busiest routes to provide more frequent buses, while the Coverage Concept would maintain some level of service throughout all areas currently served by MCTS, even if buses run less frequently.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about each concept, ask questions and complete a short survey about which approach—or balance between the two—is most important to them.
