Details:

Whether you're brand new to smartphones and tablets or simply want to become more comfortable using them, the Mobile Device Essentials Workshop is designed to help you build practical technology skills for everyday life. This free, four-part workshop series provides hands-on instruction in a supportive environment where participants are encouraged to ask questions, practice new skills, and gain confidence using the devices they rely on every day.

Over the course of four weekly sessions, participants will learn the basics of using mobile devices, including accessibility features, creating and managing contacts, sending text messages, using email, browsing the internet, downloading and using apps, and backing up important data. Each session builds on the previous one, helping attendees develop practical skills they can use at home and in their daily lives.

The workshop is free to attend, but space is limited and advance registration is required. To RSVP or request disability-related accommodations, please contact Jacob Riberdy at (414) 226-8112 or jriberdy@independencefirst.org.
