Details:Join Independence First for a TEPP Adaptive Phone Equipment Open House on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Independence First Waukesha County Office, 2607 N. Grandview Blvd., Suite 100, Waukesha. Stop in to learn about the Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) and the adaptive equipment available to help people communicate more independently.
TEPP can help eligible Wisconsin residents pay for specialized telecommunications equipment. To qualify, participants must be Wisconsin residents who are Hard of Hearing, Deaf, have a Speech Disability, or have a Mobility/Motion Disability, and have a need for specialized equipment to communicate.
Come learn more about the program, explore adaptive phone and communication equipment, and find out whether TEPP may be able to help cover the cost of equipment that meets your communication needs.

To maintain a smoke-free environment, please also refrain from smoking in paths of travel and doorways.
