Peer Power: Movies, Pizza and Good Company

Looking for a fun way to connect with others, make new friends, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon? Join Independence First's Peer Power, an informal social group where people with disabilities of all kinds can come together for movies, pizza, conversation, and good company!

Peer Power is all about building friendships, sharing experiences, and having fun in a welcoming, comfortable environment. Whether you're looking to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply enjoy a movie with others, everyone is welcome to join the fun.

At our first gathering, participants will have the opportunity to suggest their favorite films and help choose the movies we'll watch at upcoming meetings. There's no formal agenda or structured activities — just a chance to relax, socialize, and enjoy spending time together.

Come for the movies, stay for the friendships!
