Details:Join The Ability Center and Independence First for the RampUp Series at Veterans Park on Friday, May 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This free community event will feature an adaptive bike ride along Milwaukee’s lakefront along with opportunities to connect with local organizations providing services, recreation, and resources for people with disabilities and their families.
As a community partner for the event, Independence First will be on site showcasing adaptive sports and recreation equipment available through our free loan and rental program. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore adaptive technology demonstrations, learn more about independent living resources, and speak with staff about programs and services available in the Milwaukee area.
The RampUp Series is organized by The Ability Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing inclusive and adaptive recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The event is free and open to the community.
