Empower Fall Concert

featuring award-winning singer-songwriter Victoria Canal

Victoria Canal received the 2023 Rising Star award at the prestigious Ivor Novellos and her song “Swan Song” was hailed by Coldplay’s Chris Martin as “one of the best songs ever written.”

Canal’s captivating new EP Well Well explores body dysmorphia and the lasting impact of passing cruelty, experiences all too common for anyone who sits outside the status quo.   

Independence First is a nonprofit that empowers people with disabilities to live independently in the community instead of in nursing homes and institutions. 

Please note that no flash photography, food, or drinks are allowed inside the historic Centennial Hall.
