May event will help people choose the best program for them --RSS Feed

Spring is in the air, and the Long Term Care Advocacy Team is holding a Brown Bag Lunch Educational Event at the IndependenceFirst Milwaukee office, 540 S. 1st Street, on May 11 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. The event is called, “Which Program Should I Choose?” and it will help educate attendees about the Family Care, IRIS, Partnership and Straight Title 19 options offered in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties.

Perry Mueller from the Disability Resource Center will be giving this presentation. He will talk in depth about the different choices individuals with disabilities have as they make decisions about long term care programs.

This event is open to anyone who would like to learn more about Wisconsin’s Long Term Care System. People with disabilities, family members, service providers and the general public are encouraged and welcomed to attend.
